Death Notice

Aggie Eaton died 3-14-1940 in the home of her daughter Alberta Toomer of 384 Midland Ave. Midland Beaver Co., Pennsylvania.
She was born a slave on a plantation in Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, she is more than 100 years old.
She remebers vividly the Emancipation Proclamation President Abraham Lincoln issued in 1863 to end slavery.
She was buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Industry, Beaver Co., Pa.
