In Reply to: Thomas and Agnes Wilson, Franklin Twp. by Donna Wilson Craven of 1473

My Hannah Wilson b. abt. 1787, Ireland (from the 1850 Census) married Thomas Thompson. They were in Beaver County in time for him to serve in the War of 1812 from there, and raised six children.

Does anyone have anything on Hannah?

How about her sons William Thompson and Samuel Thompson, both reputed to have served in the Civil War? William was alleged to be a Lieutenant.

Son David Thompson b. 1812 married Barbara Lambright, and daughter Margaret Thompson b. 1825 married Jacob Grubbs. Both families spent most of their lives in Williams County, Ohio, and both were written up in Presidents, Soldiers, Statesmen, an 1892 biography of Williams County Civil War Vets.
