I just recently found proof that my gggrandfather, James Smith, was born in Beaver County, PA in abt 1816. This was on his death record. On the 1860 Ohio (Meigs County) Census, it states that James' parents were both born in Maryland. Does any of this match with your information? Do you have a James Smith listed in your files? Jamse had a son, Thomas Benjamin. He is my great-grandfather. James moved to Meigs County, Ohio and settled in Long Bottom, Ohio, marrying Mahala Barrett in 1843.

Our cousin, Thomas, told us that we had cousins in Georgetown, PA....what a coincidence that Georgetown is in Beaver County? I hope we can make a connection. If you would like, you can email me at queenbasket@aol.com
