SHANER- 1900 census
Posted by: Sheri Ferrell Date: August 03, 2001 at 06:15:46
  of 1471

Can someone help me solve a mystery? The following info appears in 1900 census of Sewickley Twp Beaver Co PA roll 1374 Book 1:
Head of household George S Shaner age 29.
His mother- Beulah 66
Ann J-- aunt age 63
Tolerance, daughter age 5
Albert, son age 1.
Mystery: I can't find a single trace of George S, Tolerance or Albert other than this entry in the census. Was told that George had been married to Cora Virginia Hazen so I assume she either died before 1900 or they had divorced. Does anyone have any info on Albert, Tolerance or George S? (George Sheridan Shaner is full name) Thanks. Sheri
