Looking for info on Morgan and Julia Carson who lived in Fallston Borough, Beaver County in 1860s. A family story goes that Morgan was a riverboat captain who went down river one day and never returned, leaving a widow and 6 children. In fact, 1860 Census states he was a steam engineer. He died about 1862. By 1870, Julia had moved to Pittsburgh, Allegheny County with their children: Margaret, Mary, William, Clara, Anna L., and Sarah/Sadie.
