Moses HAMPTON (1803 - 1878) was NOT married to Hannah VAN ATTA/variant spellings. He was married to Margaret LAIN. Hannah VAN ATTA (1769 - 1856) was his mother; wife of Moses HAMPTON (1762 - 1825).

Moses and Hannah were my 3rd-great-grandparents.

Hope this helps.
