There is an obit for Rilla Wertz in the Feb 20, 1969 Pittsburgh Post Gazette, pg 26. Don't know if this link will work but:

http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=gL9scSG3K_gC&dat=19690220&printsec=frontpage

If it doesn't work, go to Google and type in Google news archive-click on Google news archives search-advanced archive search-and type in 2/20/1969 for Date and Type Pittsburgh for the Source.

Obit shows Harry was pre-deceased Rilla and that she lived at 1338 Spring Garden Ave. I looked in the 1930 census and they are not living at the address in 1930.

I could not find Harry's obit in the Press or Post Gazette.

Daughter's name was Ella Morrissey when Rilla died. It also mentions a sister for Rilla who lived in Detroit.

Don't know if you are familiar with that area of Pittsburgh, but at the one end of Spring Garden Ave it "T's" into Mt Troy Road and St Mary's Cemetery.

There is a Harry A Wertz buried at St Mary's but don't know if it is the Harry you are looking for:

http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~njm1/stmytyb.htm

Rilla is not listed there but someone may just have not written her name when they wrote down the names. He is in Section B which is near the cemetery office.

Hope this helps.
