Edward K. Chamberlain (b abt 1844) was married to Minnie (b abt 1847) and they had a daughter Ella Kate (b about 1879). He was the brother of Kendrick K. Edward K. Chamberlain's parents were Susan Clark (b abt 1806 PA- d abt 1844 OH) and Dr. E. K. Chamberlain (1805-abt 1853) (married 29 Mar 1836 New Brighton, Richmond County, NY - from Marriages and deaths from the New Yorker (double quarto edition), 1836-1841 By Kenneth Scott - google books - dau Abisha Clark of Chester County, PA). Dr. E.K.Chamberlain, the father, was appointed 18 Jun 1846 by Pres. Polk, surgeon in the Mexican war.

Edward K.'s mother's (Susan Clark)parents were Rebecca Gibbons (b 3 Jun 1783 Chester County, PA; d 5 Oct 1812)and Abisha Clark (b 16 Jun 1770 Bradford, Chester County, PA; d 1843 Doe Run, Chester County). Rebecca Gibbons parents were Joseph Gibbons and Margery Hannum of Chester county. There are many things written about the Gibbons and Hannum families of Chester County - just search google books. Abisha Clark's parents were James Clark and Hannah Hayes.
Hope this helps.
