Would be very interested to know if the DNA of the John Gillespie b. 1765/75 has been compared to the DNA of a John Gillespie who lived in Cecil County, MD (as late as 1818) and then came to Western Pennsylvania. I believe that the John Gillespie who lived in Cecil County, MD may have also come to Beaver County, PA (where he died in 1822).

If this comparison has been made and has proven to be positive -- I may be interested in participating in your study since I am a descendant of Thomas Gillespie -- the son of John Gillespie b. 1765/75.
