I believe William Bennett is indeed buried at Providence Baptist Cemetery, but the only documentation of this is from an old list compiled circa. 1936 of veterans buried at Providence Baptist Cemetery; at that time there was an old sandstone marker for him, with a War of 1812 marker beside it. There is no stone at North Sewickley Cemetery for William Bennett (would pre-date the cemetery by about 20+ years); there is a Solomon Bennett who died June 6, 1855 aged 62 years 6 months and 30 days and is wife, Elizabeth Bennett, who died June 12, 1856 aged 59 years 4 months and 2 days at North Sewickley Cemetery
