Miss Nellie Miller Funeral
Services were conducted yesterday in Bauer Funeral Home for Miss Nellie Irene Miller of 134 Market St., Kittanning, who died Thursday (Oct. 22, 1959) in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. The afternoon rites were officiated by her pastor, Dr. Robert Thurau of St. John's Lutheran Church. As interment was made in Kittanning Cemetery, bearers were Pern Rupert, Earl Fox, Harry Miller, Richard Miller, Donald Miller, and Jack Burns.

There is an obit on Oct. 23, 1959 with additional information-it states Nellie was born Oct. 16, 1900 in Manor Twp. and was the daughter of William W. and Elizabeth (Rearick) Miller.

W. W. Miller-age 46-born Feb. 1854 in PA-parents born PA-married 25 years-he is a day laborer.
Elizabeth E.-wife-age 43-born June 1856 in PA-parents born PA-married 25 years-she had 4 children 4 are living.
Howard O.-son-age 23-born July 1876 in PA-day laborer.
Laura J.-daughter-age 20-born Sept. 1879 in PA.
Flora L.-daughter-age 20-born Sept. 1879 in PA.
Harry E.-son-age 17-born June 1882 in PA.
Bell G.. Clever-grandchild-age 3-born March 1897 in PA.
The census was taken on June 1, so Nellie wouldn't be on it.

Nellie I. Miller (age 19) is in the 1920 census in Manor, Armstrong County with her parents William W. and Elizabeth Miller.

Mr. and Mrs. James Rupert, of Garretts' Run, Mr. and Mrs. O. H. Miller, Mrs. Harry Fox, Earl Fox, Nell Miller and Mrs. Elizabeth Miller of Kittanning, attended the funeral of Daniel Miller of Whitesburg on Thursday afternoon.

Manorville-Mrs. Floyd Burns, of Freeport, delightfully entertained a group of relatives and friends at an all day quilting party at her home on Wednesday. At noon a delicious tureen dinner was served by the hostess. The following ladies from Garrett's Run and Kittanning enjoyed the day there: Mrs. Harry Fox, Mrs. Fred Lindeman and daughters, Peggy Jean and Helen of Kittanning, Mrs. Elizabeth Miller, of Typewriter Hill and Mrs. James Rupert of Garrett's Run.

July, 1930
Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Burns, of Buffalo Street, entertained a number of Kittanning friends, Wednesday. They included Mrs. Burns' mother, Mrs. H.E. Fox of Woodward Avenue and Mrs. Elizabeth Miller and Mrs. Harry Zellefrow and son, Earl, of Typewriter Hill.
