Miss Nellie Miller Funeral
Services were conducted yesterday in Bauer Funeral Home for Miss Nellie Irene Miller of 134 Market St., Kittanning, who died Thursday (Oct. 22, 1959) in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. The afternoon rites were officiated by her pastor, Dr. Robert Thurau of St. John's Lutheran Church. As interment was made in Kittanning Cemetery, bearers were Pern Rupert, Earl Fox, Harry Miller, Richard Miller, Donald Miller, and Jack Burns.
There is an obit on Oct. 23, 1959 with additional information-it states Nellie was born Oct. 16, 1900 in Manor Twp. and was the daughter of William W. and Elizabeth (Rearick) Miller.

Manorville-Mrs. Floyd Burns, of Freeport, delightfully entertained a group of relatives and friends at an all day quilting party at her home on Wednesday. At noon a delicious tureen dinner was served by the hostess. The following ladies from Garrett's Run and Kittanning enjoyed the day there: Mrs. Harry Fox, Mrs. Fred Lindeman and daughters, Peggy Jean and Helen of Kittanning, Mrs. Elizabeth Miller, of Typewriter Hill and Mrs. James Rupert of Garrett's Run.
Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Burns, of Buffalo Street, entertained a number of Kittanning friends, Wednesday. They included Mrs. Burns' mother, Mrs. H.E. Fox of Woodward Avenue and Mrs. Elizabeth Miller and Mrs. Harry Zellefrow and son, Earl, of Typewriter Hill.
