I am trying to find information about my husband's ancestor Thomas Hewitt, who was supposedly born around 1793 in Allegheny County and married Hannah Miller (some say in 1820 and some 1826). He was recorded in the census in 1850 Medina, Dane Co., Wisconsin. I am including below what one site has on him. I would like to know:
- Exact city of birth or at least confirm it was Allegheny County.
- Birth date.
- Date and location of death.
- Any information confirming or refuting that he is the Thomas Hewitt listed in the Dawes Rolls as being a member of the Chickasaw tribe.
