Hello Kathleen,

You may already have found these on findagrave? If so, my apologies. It's been a while since you posted your message.

John Bare, b.1 Oct 1773 d.9 Nov 1840 and his first wife Catharine, b.9 Apr 1778 d.14 Jan 1824, are buried in White Church Cemetery, Gettysburg, Adams County, Pennsylvania.

I'm pretty sure this is John of Mount Joy from the following:
Died on Thursday, the 13th[sic?] inst., Mrs. Catharine Bear, wife of Mr. John Bear, Sen., of Mountjoy township in the 46th year of her age.
(published) 21 Jan 1824
Page 3, Republican Compiler, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

I don't know the names of any of their children, but John, Sr. married as his 2d wife Elizabeth (Spoon/Spohn) Etzler, in October, 1825. Elizabeth was my GGG Grandmother. She is mentioned in John Bare's will. I do not have a copy of his will - was notified of it's existence by other researchers.
