This appears to be the line I have been looking for. Catherine Reese was a gg-grandmother. Looking for any / all information on them to see if they are the correct family. What I have is this:

Catherine Reese/Rees was born in Pennsylvania. Several souces have her from Snyder County, but that did not even exist when she was born, ca 1842-45.

Catherine had an older brother Jonathon/John. He was listed as living with she and her husband (Jacob Flury) in Penn Township, Cass, Michigan on the federal census for 1870 and 1880.

Her obituary, infromation provided by one of her sons, sayd thst she moved with her foster parents from Pennsylvania to Indiana when she was 17 (about 1858 - 62). No mentioned in her obit about her birth family at all. In Indiana she met Jacob, married and had their first child. Then they moved to Michigan.

This family does seem to fit most of what is known, she would have been about 5-8 in the 1850 census, it lists her as 9. It also list an older brother John who might be the Jonathon in later years, his age is listed as 19, in late census's he is listed as between 10 and 15 years older than Catherine. When she was married and had her first child, a son named Henry (the fathers name of this family).

The 1850 federal census for Hamiltonban lists them as:

Henry Reese born 1794 in Penn
Catherine Reese born 1800 in Penn
Violetta 30
Edward 20
John 19
Frederick 15
Julian 13
Catherine 9
John H Duvatt/Dewitt 1

Anyone have any information on them? Would like to hear it.
