Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I do not show a Jacob born 1789. I have 1781 and 1809. However that, as I've found, is not necessarily a negative. We have recently found one that we can't connect but the DNA says we're related. I looked on ancestry .com DNA and do not see a Robert Samuel Hartman. Could it be under another name, or on another site? If you'd like to contact me direct you can do so at vlhartman@mindspring.com
