The 1850 tax records for Menallen Twp. show a George Peters, Henry Peters, and Susanah Peters (widow). The Butler Twp tax records for that year show a Jacob and John Peters.

If you would like more information on the Peters families of Adams County, you may want to visit the Adams County Historical Society (ACHS) or, if that is not feasible, consider using their research services. Information on their research services can be found at www.achs-pa.org .

ACHS has estate records, deed records, maps, land drafts, tax records, church records, and other resources that will likely shed light on these individuals and how they are related.
