I checked the Conewago Chapel marriage and baptismal records for Levi Smith's marriage and children and did not find them there. I will check other sources when I go into the JTR Library on Sunday. I did check the abstracts of John Timon Reily's eight volumes. He says Levi was married in Canton, Ohio. I will look up the orginal citation.

St. John's is the oldest Catholic Church in Canton. I have been told the parish has a historian who will research their records.

A number of families from the Adams Co. Area settled in the counties around Canton in the early to mid 1800's.
