Very Glad to see a Ozier File--at last! Here are my files on this family

Ozier is a French name, meaning "Willow;" French spellings include "Ogier" and "Augier." The
Ozier family traced here begins with the birth of John Ozier in France in 1707. In America on
April 30th, 1736 in Cecil County, Maryland we find the naturalization of John Ozier, "a planter"
together with his sons, Jacob Ozier, William Ozier and John Ozier, "the said John Ozier and father
being a native of France."(1)
