Dear Sarah,
I just wrote a message to you before this one giving you some info on my grandfather Andres Oyervides. After posting the message I spoke to my mom and asked her a few questions and if her side of the facts works out right, you are my 3rd cousin.Ok, here it goes.
My great grandparents were names Juanita and Luis Oyervides. She's not sure about the Luis, but believes that was his name. They had 6 children which included my grandfather and your great grandfather Alejandro. They were Luis, Socorro, Fredericko, Pato (or something like that), Alejandro, and Andres. They all lived in Eagle Pass, Texas. My Grandfather Andres was the youngest and was raised by his older brother Luis I'm not sure why, or when their parents passed away and if that was the reason.Anyway, Alejandro Married, Maria Camarillo, and my grandfather married a few time before marrying my grandmother Maria Martinez. They moved to Idaho. With my granfathers first marriages, he had 4 children. Two of which lived in Chicago and Two of which lived in Aneheim, CA.The two in Chicago were Alicia Oyervides and Eva Oyervides, sisters from one marriage. The two from California were Eddie and Richard, brothers from the second marriage.Richard and Eva both have passed away, but Alicia still lives in Chicago and is retiring from the postal service.
From what my mother tells me, Alejandro, your great grandfather was her uncle and I met him only once when I was just born.Did he and your great grandmother pass away? What is your grandfather's name?Does any of this go with your family? Please get back to me as soon as you can.If it's right, then I'd like to find out more about your side of the family.Thanks...Diana
