I believe that Henry and Elizabeth Oxner Kelch who lived in Newberry County in the late 1790s were probably the parents of John Keltner and his brothers Daniel and Henry. Elizabeth was the oldest child of Jacob Oxner, and had a brother George ,born 1795, who was Jacob's youngest child. (See the Felix Oxner Family Bio http//
John was born in 1795 also, and he ,his brothers and George Oxner served in Tucker's Regiment in the War of 1812. I am wondering if George could have been a cousin of the Keltner brothers.
I sent Darby Frantz an e-mail about this; but it was not delivered. Do you know how to reach Darby? Do you have any information about the above people?I would be so appreciative of any help you could give. Miriam
