Hi, All,
Does anyone know of a connection between Thomas Owensby (b:5/1876 in NC) and his wife, Ida (b:3/1876 in SC) with either the Harris' or Mullinax's? On the SC 1900 Census, Thomas & family are listed residing next to or near the following individuals:
Fred...Harris age 40 with wife Mary age 39, having 2 sons & 1 daughter.
Charles Harris age 25 with wife Caroline age 35. Listed are 5 children of Caroline's (Mullinax's) and 3 children between them (Harris')
William Mullinax age 19 with wife Fanny age 18 (listed as Fred Harris' step son & step daughter-in-law)
Joel Qwensby (b:12/1867) and wife Jane (b:5/1871) and son Charles age 7.
Here are also a couple other questions:
What was Ida wife of Thomas' maiden name?
What was Fred's wife, Caroline's maiden name? Obviously she was the widow of a Mullinax.
How are Thomas & Joel related? They can't be father and son because there's only a 10-11 year difference between them are they brothers perhaps?
If anyone can answer any or all of these qustions, I'd be very appreciative.
