I'm seeking information on Elizabeth Owens who was living with Permelia Marshall in Titus County, Texas during the 1850 U.S. Census. The Census states that she was born in North Carolina and she was 85 years old. Was she related to the "Johnathan" Owens family who was living near Permelia Marshall? Normally, I would think that Elizabeth would be Permelia's mother, but word has it Permelia was Permelia Hood, daughter of John Hood. I'd like to know the truth.
