Hi Joe,

I reviewed your chart last night and was so excited. It all looks great. I hope that I will be able to fit my ggg grandfather, Thomas Franklin Owensby, Sr. 1767-1853 to the chart. He named a son, Powell Stamper Owensby. You wrote me once you thought he could possibly be the brother of your ancestor.

I thought their mother was Elizabeth Waters who married Powell Owenby. Years ago I found where Moses Waters left his riding clothes to his sister's son, Thomas Owensby. I always felt that was my Thomas. I would have to search to find the source! I have been working on the descendants of Philemon Waters and saw that post on Genforum on Waters site.

Have you ever seen a marriage of a Powell Ownby to Elizabeth Waters?
