Looking for parents of Mary Adaline Owensby/Ownby b. Sept. 1849 in possibly McDowell Co. NC. Married Daniel S. Ruff 1865. They were in McDowell Co. in 1870. I believe her father was Posay Owensby. Daniel's brother was Enoch Ruff who married Nancy Owensby. Possbible sister to Mary A. I have seen much of the line of Arthur Owensby but have not seen a connection for Posay or Mary yet. Mary was in Madison Co.,NC in 1900.
