Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for information on John (G) Owen born 27/28 March 1825 in Woodchurch, Kent, England.

Between 1861 and 1862 he was a Republican Member of Michigan State Senate 6th District. He may possibly also have been State Treasurer for Michigan State between 1861 and 1866. AND he was Mayor of East Saginsaw, Michigan between 1870 and 1871.

I would like to know when he arrived in the USA, if he married and had a family out there, what he did besides politics and if there are any descendants of his researching out there!

His brother, Woodland Owen, was in Adrian, Lenawee, Michigan in 1848. He was a dentist and raised a family there.

Any information gratefully received and exchanged. Karen
