In 1862-1868 Probate Fee Books
8/5/1863 - David Jarrell - Emily Jarrell, Guardian
1863 - Freeman Jarrell - F. N. Owen, Guardian (could this be Freeman W.Owen?)
1864 - Robert H. Jarrell - N. N. Jarrell, Administrator
Are David Jarrell and Freeman Jarrell sons of David and Emily Jarrell, or could they be the sons of Robert Jarrell (listed as 9 years old on the 1850 census) and is N. N. Jarrell the Nathaniel Jarrell (listed as 16 years old
on the 1850 census)?
If, indeed, the F. N. Owen is actually Freeman W. Owen, I believe that Emily is his sister. They were both born in Georgia. Also, James H. Owen is probably their brother, born in Georgia, also.According to Ancestry.com,
Kyle T. [email protected]
confirms that the three are siblings and are the children of Henry Owen and Martha Winfield.Frank W. Owen (on 1860 census with mother, Martha) is listed as a younger brother by Kyle T. Spicer, as is another brother, John M. Owen and
three more sisters - Saletha, Cynthia, and Martha Elizabeth.

Sandy Creek Cemetery
Freeman W. Owen
1800-Feb. 22, 1880(Could there be confusion about the year of birth?)
Hope this helps.
