Here is the little bit of additional information that I have based on the Sehorn connection.
I am a descendant of this Sehorn family through Nicholas SEHORN (b. 1825 AL) who was the son of Hugh SEHORN. Information as follows from War of 1812 pension application W.O. #29031, W.C. #29501. "He (Hugh) was born 19 January 1793. Enlisted into service in Jefferson County, TN on 20 September 1814 in Captain Reuben Tipton's Company of East Tennessee Mounted Gunmen. Discharged 1 May 1815. He married Tabitha Ann Owens in Dandridge, Jefferson Co. TN 16 Dec 1817. She was born 16 March 1799. They remained in Dandridge TN about 2 years, then moved to Montgomery AL for about 16 years. They lived in Union Co. AR about 8 years and in Hempstead Co. AR about 2 years. They moved to Ft. Smith, Sebastian Co. AR ca 1869. They had eleven children, the first born in 1819 and the last born in 1839. In 1879, Nicholas SEHORN, son of Hugh and Tabitha, living in Sebastian Co. AR, stated, "I was born in August 1825, my mother had 11 children, all of whom except myself and a sister are dead. My sister resided the last we heard in Louisiana, we lost track of her during the war."
