Mr. Samuell, In earlier messages, I explained that the info I have was compiled by my gr grandfather, Henry T. Owen and Dr. Thomas Owen.I do not say it is the gospel.
To reply - first you are correct, I inadvertedly left out Robert Owen, son of Lewis II and father of Humphrey.
According to Henry, William, son of Humphrey, left Wales at age 15 and migrated to VA.Other family trees show Thomas Owen
born in 1670, father of John, however I agree with you, if John's correct year of birth was 1676, as many claim, that would not
be possible. My gr grandfather had two dates of birth for Thomas - one in 1655 the other in 1670.I am more inclined to think the date of 1655 is correct.William would have been 20 yrs of age when he fathered Thomas. There are still many who claim John was born in 1676, including the work of my gr grandfather.I am inclined to go with that date as Dr. Thomas Owen and Henry Owen did extensive research on this. Finally, in regard to the mother's of Mary Owen and Brackett Owen, I am again only showing the line as prepared by Henry Owen and Dr. Thomas Owen. They listed the 6 children of John and Sarah and the 6 children of John and Phoebe. In John's will, I believed he
named the children, starting with the youngest daughter. As I recall, he made no distinction as to which of the children were by which wife.
