Dear Robert,

I am surprised you can be so certain about me! The reason that I know that I am descended from Ouvry is that I have birth and marriage records, which date back and show that the family was originally named Ouvry and the name was Anglicised. Maybe yours is different, but that does not show the same for me. It look as thought we are from different Ouvry families. My mother, who is 91, remembers her French grandmother, who came from Huguenot silk weavers who lived in Spittalfields in London!

If, however, you have some information that I am wrong. Please send it to me.

regards,

Amanda
