Hello Ashley,
I beleive what you are refering to is the Old Overholt Whisky, dating back to the middle 1800's. Started by Abraham Overholt in the United States, I too thought this may be one of my ancestors, but acording to the info on Karen Rose Overholt Critchfield's website, I can't quite find any connection as of yet. But my Overholt lineage does seem to come from this area of the US. Try this website:
