Dear Glenn,
A friend of mine sent over the following Suffolk County, Long Island, New York newspaper marriage announcement. While it is probably in the Overbaugh genealogy, I thought I would post it here.
Gertrude Barber, “Marriages & Deaths from the Republican Watchman,” Vol. 2, page 55
"Newspaper dated June 14, 1879."
"Amityville, June 7, by Rev. G W Filmer, Rev. F.C. Overbaugh to
Ida M. Dayton. (In paper dated 6/21/1879 - date of marriage given as
6/12/1879 and maiden name of Ida - ‘‘Duryea'."
I was unaware of her first marriage.
