For many years now, I have been collecting, both real and virtual postcards. These cards are readily available in private sales, antique stores, flea markets, and on eBay.
The content of these postcards, many times, contain valuable information of a genealogical nature. People often had photographs of themselves, friends and family taken and this was their avenue for sending them to others.
