Linda, I would like to add this info to your timeline:
March 3, 1864, Lieut. William T Anderson married Miss Bush Smith in Sherman, Grayson Co TX.
As everyone can see from your timeline, William C Anderson had been married from 9 mos-1 yr in 1864, as his first child was born in 1864.
There are SOME minor similarities in the lives of the two men, but not enough to cause any confusion that the two were one.
