Thanks Gay,

I was searching my other line when I came across the Archer Gang, had never heard of them. How in the world do you come up with the information like this, it is great.
Thanks

My gr gr grandfather John W Archer married in Orange County Indiana to Mary Sanders, 31 Jan 1818.

One of their son's Lyman Wyatt Archer was my gr grandfather
his daughter was Lydia Ellen Archer that married Joseph Samuel Davis, he was the son of Sam Davis that had a shooting contest with Frank & Jesse James in Kansas.
There was a history of Sam Davis Killing 8 men for the murder of Clem Davis (his father)I think there were a couple entrys here on Gedforum one written by Donna R (my cousin) and my self on Sam & Clemuel Davis.
Thank you again
Ellie
