Dear Carol,
I read Chapter XXXV three times this evening after bowling six games in the afternoon. Maybe I'll not say too much about "George Shepherd's Feat of Arms,"
I'll let the readers decide if Jesse heard about it before it was published that he was killed.
Seems like Mrs. Samuel was happy to heard that her son was killed. Not to many mothers have to go thru their son being killed twice. No body for the first time, but a true body for the second time around sure makes a differences.
