You know, after all these years of believing that Jesse died when history tells us, I am beginning to have my doubts. Jesse had too much of a political background to not be able to try to pull off a fake death. His connection to the Harris, Turpin, Crittenden, Jefferson, Woodson, families is just too strong. I still believe that William James was the son of Richard James of Francs James from Henrico and Goochland Counties(married to Mary Harris) Same family of Judith Harris who married John Crittenden.
BUT, I don't believe that J. Frank Dalton was Jesse James.
