Thank you for the information. I have found Noble Hously, wife Angeline, stepdaughter Emma Ashton and son Richard,age 2 in 1870 in La Harpe, Hancock Co, Illinois. I know that Emma married in 1876 and stayed thru 1880 in the area, moving to Derry, Pike Co, Illinois, lost track of her mother, and will now start searching in Mo. I found a Richard Owsley in Mo in 1880 living with an unrelated (?) family no sign of mother, another source states Angeline died in 1891 so perhaps there is some confusion over when Richard died versus when Angeline died. Thanks for your help I will continue searching. peggy
