How the last name is pronounced
Posted by: Stephen Ousby Date: July 03, 2001 at 17:49:53

My branch of the Ousby family migrated to states about 125 years ago and I've been in contact with family members in England. But one question I've never gotten an answer for how does everyone else pronounce the last name. We say it "oz"-"be" or thats the closes I can come on a word processor. When people came to the states many times annunication of a name was changed and many people went with the change to fit in better with their new home land. Any and all replys eagerly accepted.
thanks Stephen
