Otway and Birchett connection? 1807 VA

Looking for a connection between my Otway M. Birchett and any Otway's. I am assuming that his first name indicates a relationship?? Otway was born about 1807 in Virginia but moved to Greene Co., Alabama. His parents are not known yet and I'm wondering if his mother was an Otway.
