I am not related to the Ottway's but am looking for the family of William John Ottway. He was born in London, England on April 6th of 1875. His Father's name was William John Ottway and his Mother's name was Annie Sarah Bradbury. He left England and went to Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. He married Vida Lucy Cunningham who was born May, 18, 1881. She was from Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. They were married Jan. 18, 1898 in Ottawa. Ontario, Canada. They had one child who was born at the Ottawa Maternity Hospital in 1904.Her name was Ethel Mae Ottway. Wm. left Canada in May of 1910 and came to the United States at Buffalo, N.Y. He lived in Savannah, Ga. for a while and then moved to Birmingham, Alabama in 1916 where he lived out the remainder of his life.He was a bicycle mechanic.
