I have a bit of info that possibly supports this.
The Otway family Bible that I have records that the oldest child of Thomas Otway and Elizabeth Hunt (I think it is Mary - hard to read) was born at Ulverstone in Lancashire 30/10/1816. Subsequent children were born in Staffordshire.
