Thank you for your response.
It's nice to meet "family," whether distant or close.
Unfortunately, I do not have any information on a website regarding our family line.
However, I might be able to share some information with you.
George Otley (one of ten children) was apparently 16 years old when his family (along with parents John & Jane (Chapman) Otley) left England, and sailed over to live in America. They settled in Winchester County, Illinois.
Arthur Hodgson Haxby Otley (my Grandfather, one of George & Jane's sons) was married to Rhoda Isabelle Bainbridge in July 1899....as you said they had ten children. My Father, John Arthur Otley, was their second son, born 24th February, 1902...and died in November, 1996. My Mother, Iris Laura Pflanz, was born in London, England in February 1922, and died in May 1996. I have four older brothers:
Alan Charles Otley (my oldest brother....actually a half-brother..Alan is my Mother's son from her first marriage...Alan is currently living in Florida).....
John Arthur Bainbridge Otley (born in January 1950, died from cancer in September 1996)....John was married with step-children
Thomas William Allpress Otley (born in September 1952 currently living in Missouri)......married with two sons and a daughter
Mark Robert George Otley (born in September 1955 currently living in Michigan)...married with a son and daughter.
And then there's myself, Mary Jo Ann Otley (now Wilson) born in December 1957, living in Michigan....married with two step-children.
Would love to see the "family connection" - do you have a website? Or any information you'd like to share with us? Are you living in Illinois?

We also have cousins out on the West Coast, daughters of Ivy Otley (Ickes) (Arthur & Rhoda's youngest daughter)....I could put you in touch with them if you're interested.
Of the ten children of Arthur & Rhoda only John (my Dad) and Ivy (his sister) had any children....the others were married but no direct offspring (believe there were some step-children). I can supply names of Arthur & Rhoda's children if you need them....birth dates, etc may be a bit more difficult.
Do you know Joyce Hollar of Cambridge, IL? Another cousin. She has quite an extensive history of the family....apparently has done quite a bit of research. If you do not know her, perhaps I could put you in touch? Let me know.
