As a descendant of Paul Hotesse/Otis I've enjoyed the ongoing discussion about Jean Otis. So, I couldn't resist looking Jean up in PRDH.
There is a contract of marriage between Jean Baptiste Otis and his first wife, Cecile Poullain. Jean Baptiste Otis, declared not being able to sign, was a resident of Beaupre and his origin was English. Cecile Poullain, also unable to sign, was a resident of St. Joachim. The marriage contract (PRDH certificate No. 95035) was dated Nov. 4, 1703. The parents are said to be Richard Otis and Anne Otis. Richard is said to be deceased. Jean Poullain and Louise Pare are the bride's parents and both were deceased. The notary was Etienne Jacob.
So, it appears the contract did not indicate who Anne was, other than the wife of Richard.
