hi,
I 've never been to OTIS but I can give you some information about this city.
It used to be portion of an unincorporated land between the townships of Tyringham,New Malborough, Sandisfield and Becket called the District of Bethlehem. It was annexed to Loundon in 1809 and the next year was renamed OTIS for the name of my ancestor, Harrison Gray Otis, lawyer and businessman, son of Samuel Otis, proprietor and great son of James Otis the early patriot.
