"Our Kin" is being reprinted.

Greetings,
I want to thank everyone that pre-ordered the 819-page, hard cover book entitled

"Our Kin"
The Genealogies
OF SOME OF THE EARLY
FAMILIES WHO MADE
HISTORY in the Founding
and Development of
BEDFORD COUNTY
VIRGINIA

By the way, this edition also includes an addendum of corrections to errors published in the original book.

I have talked to the publisher. Due to our degree of interest he is about to reprint a limited quantity of the book. Once he has
received our checks (representing 150 orders), he will start printing and binding on June 10th, and complete shipping by August 15th.
The printing and binding takes 6-8 weeks, so we need to send in our checks June 1st.

The final cost of the book is $75.00, plus shipping and applicable sales tax.
Terms - Personal checks or money order. Sorry, no credit cards or C.O.D.s
Taxes - Virginia residents only, add 4.5% sales tax (excluding shipping charges)
Shipping - is $3.00 per book for single copy orders. Additional copies are $1.00 each if mailed to the same address at the same time.
All orders are shipped via U.S. Postal Service, Special Fourth Class Book Rate.

Send checks to:
“Our Kin”
C. J. Carrier Company
P.O. Box 1114
Harrisonburg, VA 22801
540-434-3535

One cannot be sure if or when the opportunity to purchase this original reprint will be repeated. Those of you who have reprints by
Higginson know that images and graphics are very poor in second generation reprints.

Due to the high quality of C. J. Carrier books, I will be replacing the “Can You Help?” page on my website with a page about acquiring
books. Carrier books will be prominently featured. If any of you would like to contribute knowledge of hard-to-find genealogy books
from reputable dealers, I will be happy to post the information. I will NOT post books for sale by individuals, as I do not wish, in any
way, to facilitate fraud.

Thanks again to everyone who made this reprint possible.
J. Goforth
