I have found out a little more information,my greatgrandfather was James Otey and greatgrandmother Peggy Otey,according to record,he was most likely owned by Issac Otey born 10/18/1765 and died 10/18/1839.I have received some information that my ancestors may have come from Gahna,West Africa in the regionof Accra-thier lanuage was GA.The name Otey means "twins"
