My mother was Roxie Woodby and my father was Howard Fern(Fearn) both of Abingdon Va.My Mothers mother was Ruthie Otey ..that line goes all the way back to John Otey (1600)in the tidewater area of Va. Later of Bedford Co. and Montgomery Co. Va..My father'grandmother was a Stroup..I have all of the lines and dates but not just off the top of my head.. If this seems familiar at all to you we are probably related..if so please get in touch..I will be going to family reunion in July and taking a field trip to Floyd Va, to try and find the graves of GGGGFAther Otey...Bill Fearn
