Hello. There are a whole lot of Oteros here in El Paso. My dad was the youngest of 16 kids. My grandfather, Rudolfo Otero was born in 1886. He died at 101 when I was only 11 years old. All I know is that his father was named Maximillio and came from Spain back in the late 1870's. My grandfather had 8 kids from his first wife. When she died he married my grandma and had 8 more kids. The first set of kids all live in southern California. The oldest of these have either died or are great grandparents so ther are lots and lots more of us in that part of Cali. That second batch of kids, which includes my dad, all live here in El Paso,Texas. My dad is Alejandro Otero. This is a very interesting site. Please email me if you have any questions.
