Tim,There is no indication that Henry Oswald arrived in Phila. with any brothers or sisters. He arrived on the ship "Johnson" Sept. 18th, 1732.The passenger list seems to be fairly complete and he was the only Oswald listed.
Henry was listed as one of the men above 16 yrs. of age on the ship's list - so he would have been born prior to 1716. There is no information as to his birthplace, to my knowledge. He may have been Swiss, German or Alsatian.
The Mossers, Everetts and Oswalds were some of the early settlers of what is now Lynn Township, Lehigh County, PA.There was a good bit a marriage among these families and I'm sure Maria fits in there somewhere.I consulted an old genealogy and there was an Elizabeth Oswald married to Philip Mosser,Jr. She would have been a granddaughter of Henry's.There was no list of their children, however.
Hope this helps.
Neil Oswald
