Oswald's in Atlanta area + Oswald name changes!

My Oswald side of family came from Miss and S.C., and I have reason to believe we are related to those in Goeriga and AR.

I live in Georgia.

By any chance is the "Jacoby" portion Jewish?

I have some info on Jewish links with Oswalds in Germany.

Also, I am interested in finding yet another Oswald who changed their name. So far I have those who changed from Lowenstein to Oswald, an Oswald who changed to Greenwood (?), and I believe another name change.

DOes anyone know why this happens?

Some of the Oswalds married Jews in Germany. Lowensteins were related to royalty in Europe.

THere is something very interesting in the whole emerging picture!

I'm curious: What do the Atlanta Oswalds look like?
